Piano-o-o-o-o-o

how i wish i could play piano i know what anyone reading this (no one does so screw you all) will be like "just learn" but i never seem to make time i could but always find myself after practicing for five minutes thinking "well i am not a musical genius i shall stop now" i know the basics but my co-ordination is crappy (even whilst typing co-ordination i mistyped) i can type fast and *relatively* accurately but getting each hand to do a separate thing i find nearly impossible.

any how i went to see Tim minchin tonight {for those of you who don't know he is a comedic singer pianist who will knock you off your feet with hilarity} and he has somewhat inspired me to learn "must learn piano " just keep repeating it.

thought id end with a little review of aforementioned show as it is 3 am and i have had far to much caffeine to sleep

Are You Ready For This 2008

Tim begins the show with a under confident yet powerful beginning featuring mild rap and the always strong effects of strobe lighting before a small amount of banter at which he does not excel but is still found amusing by all he kicks of into a strong and funny song which i will not give away. dealing with what can only be described as a "drunken back row heckler" he handled beautiful with a smudge of annoyance but mostly diffusing the situation with incest puns i would hire him as a bouncer any night (i wouldn't but you catch my drift) he skillfully diffused the spat before entering into another powerful pre interval moral song including wind machines and chanting {cult ? ... no}

the second half almost excelling the first with the appearance of some classics including a very old nice song which had three people in my row crying it is so strong i loved every minute could have watched all night

much recommended
